2012 Cabin Improvements

Good Morning,

It has been a while since I've blogged.  I'm hoping to show some pictures from 2012 that capture most of the stuff that's happened to/at the cabin during the year.  Feel free to modify to add/change items as you'd like.

Here's Peggy and Floyd looking at the flooring in the Loft.  Matt and John did a great job!

This is the construction crew for the deck.  Bob and Lon finished the stairs on the Monday of this weekend.
For the record, these are the first beers enjoyed on the deck.
We finally got the moose rack up.  Looks good at this location.
A wonderful donation from Betty Lockman and her daughter Kim.
A beautiful table given to Sanchijebanobe by Dan and Chassity Pemberton.
Carpeting the stairs thanks to Matt, Chris, Jeff and John.
Top of the stairs looking down.
Here's a PC donated by one of the partners and configured by Chris.
Back-up system.  This is a computer along with two UPS systems to allow us to ride out momentary loss of power without losing the Internet.  This is thanks to Chris.

I think it is fitting to end this pictoral of the year with our first street signs.  As we discussed in our last annual meeting, we agreed to have these two signs made as a small tribute to Peggy and Floyd and all they have done for Sanchijebanobe and us.  Thanks to John Sanner for the signs and thanks to Dick for the sign standards and putting them  up.

Tom Baker donated a picnic table you have likely noticed under the shed roof.  There are also many other items donated by partners throughout the year.  Lon spent many days mowing and trimming at the cabin when he and Mary Jo were up this summer.  He also helped install the shelving in the entry.

Except for a few hundred dollars for the deck, all of what you have seen in materials or labor has been donated by partners.

As a result of this, we have a cabin which is becomming easier and nicer to enjoy and I believe it will keep getting better!
